Matt Kramer-Morning (He/Him) is a dynamic Jewish professional who hails from the Northwoods of Wisconsin and is excited to bring his wealth of experience to the Hillel at Purdue University. Matt completed his undergrad at Carroll College in Wisconsin before embarking on a transformative journey to Israel, where he served as a lone soldier in the 932 Infantry Company of the Nachal Brigade.
In the decade since returning to the United States, Matt has built a diverse professional portfolio that spans coast to coast. Through his work in the Silicon Valley, Las Vegas, Indianapolis, and Tidewater Jewish communities, he has gained a unique perspective and understanding of the different needs and nuances of various Jewish organizations, such as Jewish Federations, Hillels, Jewish Camping, and AIPAC.
He also holds a Masters in Jewish Professional Studies from Spertus Institute in Chicago, which he completed in 2021. With this academic background and his practical experience, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to his work with the Purdue Hillel.
Matt's passion for Jewish communal work is grounded in his deep understanding of the opportunities and potential that exist within the student demographic. He is committed to working with Purdue Hillel to help it reach its diverse student population and strengthen the organization's impact on campus.
Matt is also passionate about supporting IDF Veterans affairs and caring for ex IDF Lone Soldiers once they return to North America. When he's not working, Matt can be found rooting for the Milwaukee Brewers, spending time with his wife Nicole and their new puppy, Shimon 'Paw'res (Sheem), and binging Disney +'s Star Wars content, new and old.
