Purdue Dining currently offers a Kosher Meal Plan for lunch and dinner through the Purple Diamond Meal plan. The meals are Glatt Kosher, OU pre-plated meals that are served at Earhart and Ford dining. This is available for students who hold a University Residences meal plan. Students may opt in by contacting mealplans@purdue.edu. These are meat Kosher meals, not vegetarian Kosher meals.
A variety of frozen Glatt Kosher Meals are available at the Third Street Market for purchase, and include a variety including spaghetti and meatballs, chicken, and beef. A variety of frozen commercial meals are also available for purchase that include Kosher Vegetarian options. The market also carries a variety of vegetarian kosher frozen meals.
Kosher for Passover is offered for every lunch and dinner during the week of Passover EXCEPT during evenings of Seders (first and second night) and Shabbat dinners on Friday nights. Students with meal plans may opt in prior to Pesach with the university, and students who do not have meal plans may purchase one for the week if they would like. The meals are prepared by a Kosher Caterer operating out of Northwest Indiana who brings a Kosher Food truck for the week and prepares the meals at Purdue. Meals are served out of a designated dining court or facility by the school during the week (Meals were served out of Hillel in 2025 and 2026).
*Seders and Shabbat meals during Pesach are served by Hillel and open to anyone (no meal plan needed).
Kosher‑certified Holy Bowls, offered through Purdue Food Co., are now available at the Boilermaker Market inside the Purdue Memorial Union(PMU), expanding convenient grab‑and‑go dining options for students and staff who keep kosher and others seeking additional dietary choices.
