Born and raised in Hawthorn Woods, a north suburb of Chicago, Timothy is a sophomore studying Nursing at Purdue university. He quickly joined the Hillel community in the beginning of his freshman year, and has held his position on the programming board for two semesters. He has been deeply involved in the Jewish community both through Hillel and through the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity, where he served as the Philanthropy chair for half of his freshman year. Tim joined the Hillel community to explore his Jewish identity and immerse himself in the Jewish community at Purdue university. When he is not doing schoolwork, Tim is an avid fisherman and an enthusiastic - if amateur - chef.

The Purdue Hillel Foundation is aware of the University's announcement of Parents weekend which is in direct conflict with Rosh Hashanah. We are actively working with the Provost's Office and the Office of Student life on this issue. We have engaged in dialogue to avoid something like this happening in the future and are also actively working on an alternative weekend of activities. More details on those plans are forthcoming.
